A bright light faded and the world became a little dimmer. Alicia Beth Chalker Bodenhamer passed away on August 19th, 2018, before her time at the age of 56. She had a zest for life that far surpassed the ordinary, and a smile that could warm up an entire room.
Alicia loved the sun, the surf, the sand and the stars. She could be found on the best of days riding her Harley with the sun on her shoulders and the wind in her hair sailing across the open road to new destinations.
Alicia was preceded in heaven by her parents Richard and Sondra Drivon; her grandmother Mercedes Seymour White; her father Jess A. Chalker; and her uncle Donald Chalker. She left knowing she can do far greater things where she now resides leaving behind the loves of her life; her daughter Sophia MiKenna Bodenhamer and her husband Paul Bodenhamer Jr.; nine grandchildren; her step children Paul, Michael, Shawnee and Kaylyn; her siblings Daniel Drivon, Mike Drivon, Kevin Drivon, Gregg Hayes, Joi Chalker Crumpton, Denise Drivon Graham, and Lynette Drivon Bell; her aunt and uncle Collette and Jac Metcalf; aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Leroy Wheaton; uncle, Albert Chalker; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Sail away my love, my sister, my friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mountain View Memorial Chapel; 428 North Old Pacific Hwy. Saturday, September 8th 2018 at 10:00 A.M.
